Monia Draghi, PhD, Innovac’s Vice President of Immunology, brings extensive research expertise in immunology, vaccines and immune oncology, along with broad experience in biotech and major pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Draghi recently served as Head of Biologics at Kernal Biologics, an mRNA technology firm developing cancer therapeutics. She has also held leadership positions at Pfizer Center for Therapeutic Innovation and Compass Therapeutics. She was a member of the Novartis Vaccine team in Italy that developed Bexsero®, an FDA-approved vaccine for meningitis. Dr. Draghi completed her post-doctoral training in immunology at Stanford University and held rsearch positions at Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT and Harvard, working with colleagues to break new ground for novel approaches to cure HIV and other infectious diseases. She has filed several patents and published extensively.
